In preparation for the current wedding season, we’d like to provide some inspiration for wedding guest attire! From casual ocean-side vows to black-tie nuptials, we can help guide you towards a perfect ensemble!
This dress is the perfect ‘in-between’ dress! While it can work for a semi-casual outdoor wedding celebration, it can also be worn for a fancier upscale celebration. Due to it’s multicolor design, accessorizing appropriately will not be difficult because any color would work! Also, this form-fitted style is sexy and tasteful, and if needed, it can be modified for more coverage- maybe adding a pashmina, cardigan, or trendy blazer. This interesting pattern is funky and bright, but not too much that you couldn’t add your own personal touches. We would pair this dress with these earrings and this necklace, both in Gold/Rose Quartz, by Kendra Scott. These accessories are a subtle pastel color that is also incorporated in the pattern so it adds spunk without being distracting. Nude pumps would add a clean finish to the outfit, just like showcased in the photo above. All these summery additions make dressing up fun and effortless!
This dress showcases a cascading ruffle in the front, from the waist to the lower knee creating an elongated line, flattering any body type. This style is classic, graceful, and beautiful in its simplicity. When accessorizing this dress, we suggest something minimal to compliment the simple and clean look of the dress. We like a delicate necklace such as a Kendra Scott pendant that swoops just below the neck. We would pair this dress with some classic open-toe nude heels or a heel that is embellished with gold or silver depending on the jewelry chosen.
This Tahari dress is a great length and design for a moderately fancy summer wedding. While floaty and light, this dress is the image of relaxed beauty. Printed in a hazy and colorful floral design, this dress is mature yet fresh. Tiered in chiffon and swept to the side, this dress creates a very flattering silhouette and accentuates the waist using a wrapped sash. Because this dress uses a unique and elegant pattern and the neckline is high cut, we wouldn’t wear much jewelry around the neck. Instead, we would embellish the look with classic gem stud earrings and a matching tennis bracelet. Regarding shoes, we would pair this dress with a simple pump, maybe with an ankle strap, that completes the delicate appearance we’re going for.
This contemporary Parker Black label gown is artistic and glamorous, and a touch more formal. The youthful floral print is perfect for spring and summer and the accessible side pockets add function to fashion! We would accessorize this dress with just a touch of glitz! Whether costume or real, we would go with either diamonds or a colorful gemstone. Go for simple jewelry with this one, we wouldn’t want anything to compete for attention!
This Fit and Flare Adrianna Papell dress is classic and sophisticated! The Fit and Flare style is flattering for so many women so that makes this dress an automatic go-to! Although this dress is simple, it is also timeless, easy, and beautiful! Due to it’s black and white color blocking, this dress and be accessorized with either gold, silver, a pop of a bright color, or more black or white! We would pair this dress with either black pumps, nude pumps, or a colorful heel. We might even add an elegant belt. As for jewelry, perhaps a fun statement necklace and smaller earring, or forgo a necklace but keep the added drama with large earrings and a bracelet.
This Ralph Lauren gown is more appropriate for a black tie-event. This A-Line style and swept tied sash is classic and glamorous. While this dress is less funky or hip, it is timeless and simple which holds a different, but desirable, appeal. With this dress, we would accessorize with pearls or diamonds, either fake or real! Because the skirt is long and sweeping, the shoes are less of a concern and are the wearer’s choices!
This dress is also fit for a black tie summer wedding but shorter than the others we showed! This dress is sexy with its tight fitted bodice and skinny straps and glamorous with it’s metallic, intricate pattern. This bronzed color scheme would look amazing on those year-long pale ladies and the sun kissed gals! The picture above shows exactly how we would put this outfit together! We would keep the accessories to a minimum because the dress is so exotic. We would also pair this dress with a black heel of some sort and a black clutch or purse because black offers the perfect base to this outfit and even though its not included in the pattern, it assimilates perfectly with the color scheme while also not looking too matched!
